Welcome Improvement in Ireland's Competitiveness Ranking, but challenges remain

The NCC has published its latest Competitiveness Bulletin. The Bulletin sets out Ireland's progress in the rankings published in the IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook. In 2017, Ireland's competitiveness performance as benchmarked by the IMD has improved to 6th most competitive economy of 63 economies benchmarked by the IMD.

While challenges remain, Ireland has made significant improvements in rankings relating to economic performance, business efficiency, government efficiency and infrastructure.
